Hi, I’m Brittany Demircan! I’m the founder of Soho Psychotherapy & Coaching. I’m a neuroscientist, psychotherapist, and neurocoach who is deeply passionate about individualized, holistic mental health and self-optimization. With over 10 years of advanced education in neuroscience and the psychology of mental health, I’m dedicated to helping clients understand the deeper patterns that keep them stuck in distress, delay, or confusion.

My approach is built on five key pillars:

Effective Self-awareness — Self-awareness is only as powerful as the path it inspires. Self-awareness without action becomes a trap; a story you tell yourself instead of a truth you face. It isn’t just about recognition of patterns, it’s about meeting those patterns honestly with acceptance and intention. Effective self-awareness transcends mere observation or labelling, cultivating purposeful insight that breaks the cycle of judgment and limitation.

Emotional Integration — Emotions are often suppressed or disconnected as a means of coping, leading to inner conflict and stagnation. My approach helps you to safely access, experience, and make sense of these hidden feelings while honouring your core emotional needs. Recognizing and meeting these needs is essential for true healing and growth. This process restores emotional vitality, including your capacity for creativity and authentic self-expression.

Value Alignment — Motivation fades when it’s built on pressure or programming, whether from familial expectations, culture, or corporate identity. Real change begins when your choices reflect what truly matters to you. I will guide you to explore and get radically honest about your values, including ones that genuinely fit who you are becoming and to face and resolve those shadowed by shame or guilt to reclaim your authentic path.

Inner Peace Lasting well-being comes from cultivating a grounded sense of calm amid life’s uncertainties. Together, we develop tools to soothe and reconnect the mind and body, reduce emotional reactivity, and build resilience. This inner stability becomes the foundation from which you can engage with yourself and others more authentically.

Strategic Transformation —Insight alone doesn’t change your life; it’s what you do with that insight that matters. Together, we build practical strategies and sustainable habits that honour your unique journey, helping you move forward with confidence and resilience, even when the path feels uncertain. This work focuses on translating internal shifts into clear, values-based action, while guiding focused effort and clear intention.

I’m grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in all my therapeutic work. Whether you’re looking to overcome emotional challenges, improve performance, or find greater purpose, I aim to provide a space that is both evidence-informed and compassionate, helping you connect who you are now with who you want to become.
